Tailoring Cat & Dog Vaccinations to Your Pet’s Needs
Our veterinarians understand that each pet is unique, so we develop a custom approach to vaccines for every dogs, cats, and small mammals. We’ll start your puppy or kitten off with a vaccination series during their first year of life to boost their immunity to the most common (and dangerous) diseases. Then, when they’re an adult, we’ll talk to you about your pet’s lifestyle and recommend an individual vaccine plan that gives them full protection.
Some lifestyle factors we consider include:
- Whether your pet will be primarily indoors or outdoors
- How social your pet is (frequent dog park visits, training classes, boarding, etc.)
- Any travel with your pet and where you’ll go
- If you hike often with your pet
