As many of you are aware, the veterinary field is currently experiencing a significant shortage of professionals, which has made recruitment increasingly challenging. Unfortunately, Petcare Animal Hospital has been deeply affected by this issue. After thorough deliberation, Petcare Veterinary Hospital will be merging with Fitchburg Veterinary Hospital effective Tuesday, October 1.
We understand that this announcement may come as a surprise and a disappointment, and we want to emphasize that this decision was not made lightly. We remain committed to supporting you and your pets through this transition and appreciate your understanding during this time.

If you have an appointment scheduled at Petcare Animal Hospital, our team will reach out to you to transition that appointment to Fitchburg Veterinary Hospital.

At Fitchburg Veterinary Hospital your pet will receive the same high quality medical and surgical care that you have come to expect. Fitchburg Veterinary Hospital currently has six doctors on staff and is open Monday-Thursday from 8 am-7 pm, Friday from 8 am – 6 pm and from 8 am- noon on Saturday. Fitchburg has multiple fear-free professionals to ensure your pet has a stress-free veterinary experience. Fitchburg is an updated and modern veterinary hospital with a large parking lot. At this location, you will also have on-site access to Waggin’ Tails, Fitchburg's safe, comfortable boarding facility, including large canine, feline-only and exotic boarding areas.

Your pet's medical records will automatically be transferred to Fitchburg Veterinary Hospital on October 1st.  If you would like your pet’s records, please email Fitchburg Veterinary Hospital at info@fitchburgvet.com.
